Copanti is an ancient source of Mayan origin located near the ruins of the Copan Valley. It is said that the Mayan kings came there to quench their thirst, knowing that in the rainy season, due to the weeds that flew and landed on the fountain and the minerals with which it was built, they gave unique properties to the water. Time has allowed us to preserve part of the fountain today, which even though it is dry and sometimes the rain does its thing, the bottom still has a pearly and somewhat magical appearance. If you look at the sky, you can see a group of stars very close to each other that shine with the same nacreous tone that covers the fountain. The locals claim that these are the same kings who drank from the fountain and now look after the Earth high in the sky.
